Browar żuławski
Redefining regional heritage through a structured visual language.
The challenge was to clean up the chaos. Old labels were overcrowded and outdated. I rebuilt the brand's aesthetic by drawing from the geometry of local arcaded houses.
We created a dual system: disciplined and classic for traditional brews, bold and illustrative for the experimental line. The framework proved robust enough to scale into spirits, launching their first Gin with the same authentic DNA.

REGIONAL DNA
The visual language is strictly rooted in location. I translated the distinctive timber framing of Żuławy arcaded houses directly into the label’s geometric patterns. For the illustration style, I referenced "fliz"-traditional hand-painted ceramic tiles found in the region. It’s not just decoration; it’s a direct extraction of the local DNA, turning architectural heritage into a modern brand asset.
SYSTEM EXPANSION
The visual framework proved robust enough to scale beyond beer. For their Gin—distilled directly from their own brew stock - I adapted the established grid to a new form factor. The design retains the brand's architectural DNA but strips back the noise, embracing negative space to signal the shift from craft brew to a premium, high-proof distillate.
NEW WAVE SERIES
For the experimental batch, the system pivots. I traded architectural strictness for abstract geometry. Vivid color blocking and simplified vector forms are used to visually code specific flavor profiles. It’s a deliberate stylistic shift-high saturation and modular shapes-that instantly distinguishes these brews from the classics while strictly retaining the brand’s underlying grid structure.
