CONTEXT & CHALLENGE
Bridging the credibility gap: from abandoned infrastructure to a high-trust platform.
International Speakers operates as a global bureau, connecting keynote experts with top-tier corporate events. Despite representing high-caliber talent, their digital presence was nonexistent.
The previous platform was chaotic, visually outdated, and lacked any coherent identity system. This created a severe disconnect: a premium service wrapped in a low-trust interface. The objective was to erase this "legacy debt" and engineer a modern brand ecosystem that signals professionalism at first glance.
SYSTEM IDENTITY
A reduced semiotic system centered on humanism and the act of broadcasting.
The primary mark is a study in reduction: a single, calibrated point preceding the typography. This red dot is a polyvalent symbol—referencing the "REC" indicator of recording, a broadcast emission, and the speaker as the focal point of an event. It is the moment of concentration.
The typographic voice is defined by Freight Sans. Selected for its hybrid architecture: a modern sans-serif framework softened by humanist "a" and "g" glyphs. It balances contemporary clarity with traditional authority.
The color scheme is strictly editorial: dominant Off-Black and tactile Beige provide a neutral stage, while a deep Bordeaux serves as the sole accent, injecting strength and emotion with class.

INTERFACE ARCHITECTURE
Structuring the talent database for discovery and conversion.
The UX strategy prioritized rapid discovery. I engineered a dual-layer navigation system: a dynamic "Featured Slider" for immediate impact upon entry, and a comprehensive "Speaker Grid" equipped with sidebar taxonomy filtering. This allows clients to instantly narrow down the 60+ roster by industry vertical.
To handle variable content density, I implemented a robust card component system. The layout utilizes a standard padding logic rather than a strict column grid, offering flexibility. For individual bio pages, I designed an immersive hero section where the speaker's portrait merges with a dark gradient overlay, ensuring legibility for names and titles of any length while maintaining a premium editorial aesthetic.
CMS ARCHITECTURE
Engineered for scale and cost-efficiency using a unified Framer collection.
The platform's core is a dynamic Content Management System (CMS), initially planned as relational databases. To maintain cost-efficiency for the client, I consolidated the speaker roster and taxonomy into a single, optimized Framer Collection.
This unified architecture powers the dynamic filtering on the main grid while ensuring lead quality through precise engineering. On individual speaker bio pages, the contact form utilizes a hidden field hat automatically injects the speaker's name variable into the submission, providing the sales team with immediate, context-aware leads.
The client-facing dashboard was streamlined for ease of use. Content entry is guided by character limits to protect the integrity of the modular UI, ensuring consistency across all 60+ speaker profiles.
MOTION & INTERACTION
Subtle kinetic cues designed to control pacing and focus.
Motion is applied sparingly to enhance the editorial rhythm. A global "fade-up" logic dictates the content entry upon scroll, creating a smooth, linear reading experience.
